Ryan Daykin – Live and Acoustic

MORE LIVE MUSIC – We’ve had a run of some sensational live music and now we’ve got more lined up!
Ryan Daykin will be live and acoustic in the Courtyard on Sunday 8th (6.30pm) and Saturday 14th (7pm) Jan – his last local gigs before he heads off to Tamworth.
Though blessed with natural talent, Ryan has worked hard and is currently a student with the David Jaanz Academy of Singing in Melbourne. Ryan graduated from the C.M.A.A. Academy of Country Music in 2012, training with some of Australia’s biggest names such as David & Merelyn Carter, Felicity Urquhart, Kevin Bennett & Tamara Stewart. Additional to this, Ryan has attended the renowned Dag Sheep Station songwriters retreat multiple times, where he has personally co-written with numerous artists, including Aleyce Simmonds, Luke O’Shea and Roger Corbett.
The work to hone his craft as a performer is paying off for Ryan. 2015 proved to be a big year: May saw the release of Ryan’s’ debut EP ‘Dreams’ – featuring 6 tracks co-written by some of Australia’s finest award winning songwriters including Karl Broadie and Tamara Stewart. Dreams shot straight up the national iTunes country charts, While his first two singles “Tonight Only Happens Once” (a co-write with Drew McAlister), and “Falling” (a co-write with Drew McAlister & Tamara Stewart), both went straight into the charts.
