We Can Work It Out
Over the course of one boozy night in 1966, John, Paul, George and Ringo confront their past, future and the place their music has in the world. As egos clash and demons are revealed it soon becomes clear that the Beatles may be on a dangerous collision course. Can they right the ship before they fall apart for good?
Fierce, funny and poignant, We Can Work It Out is the account of something that probably never happened but very easily could have. Written by Gabriel Bergmoser and directed by Greg Caine, We Can Work It Out is making its way to Mansfield and the Delatite Hotel for one night only – straight from the Melbourne Fringe Festival 2018 Tickets – $20 via www.trybooking.com/YHGE Thursday 11th October

Lily & King – Live Music
Returning to the Delatite Hotel on Friday 6th July, Lily & King are here to entertain!
Dixieland punk, sailor songs, weird carnie show tunes and the odd bit of curious pop – their music is joyful, beautiful and a bit dirty and wicked too.
Their act is a lilting, luring, sensual haze of smoky opiate vocals that transport the captivated audience to a redly lit burlesque bar from the 1940s, where the smoke curled thickly in the air and people only ever drank whiskey.
With trombone, sweet and sassy vocals, toy piano, guitar, half a drum kit and an abundance of foot stomping, their melodies are infused with wild exuberance and joie de vivre – a Lily and King gig is a truly wild and joyful experience.
